Some parts have the ability to be enabled and disabled. For the motorized
hinge
and
prismatic
joints this enables/disables their motor.
Springs
,
muscles
, and
stretch receptors
can also be enabled or disabled. When they are disabled they produce no force and no new values are calculated. It is as if you simply cut them out of the system while they are disabled. This gives the user the ability to selectively turn these parts on and off during the course of the simulation.
Enabler Properties
Always Active
If this property is true then the stimulus is always active and the start and end times are ignored. If it is false then the stimulus is only applied between the start and end times.
Default value:
False
Acceptable Values:
True/False.
Body Part
A read-only property that tells which motorized joint will be moved.
Enable When Active
If this is true and the part is disabled by default, then it will enable it during the stimulus and then disable it afterwards. If this is false and the part is enabled by default, then it will disable it during the stimulus and then enable it afterwards.
Default value:
True
Acceptable Values:
True/False.
Enabled
Determines if this stimulus is applied or not. If this is false then the stimulus is ignored. If it is true then it is applied.
Default value:
True
Acceptable Values:
True/False.
End Time
This is the time when the stimulus is stopped.
Default value:
5 s
Acceptable Values:
Any value greater than the Start Time.
Name
The name of the stimulus.
Default value:
Stimulus_?
Acceptable Values:
Any string.
Structure
A read-only property that tells which structure the selected joint is contained within.
Start Time
This is the time when the stimulus will start.
Default value:
0 s
Acceptable Values:
Any value less than the End Time and greater than or equal 0.

Stimulus to active a motor in a biomechanical joint in AnimatLab.

Applies a motor position stimulus to a motorized joint.

Force stimulus that can be applied to rigid body parts of the biomechanical organism in AnimatLab

Stimulus that enables or disables biomechanical or neural components in AnimatLab simulations

Stimulus that clamps a biomechanical joint to a specified position in AnimatLab.
