This tutorial describes how to use the AnimatLab SDK to build your own plug-in modules that can be used within AnimatLab (http://animatlab.com). AnimatLab is a neuromechanical simulation system that allows you to build a physically accurate, biomechanical model of the body an organism. Hill muscle models within that body can be controlled using biologically realistic neural networks to reproduce behaviors found in the real animals. This tutorial targets version 1 of AnimatLab. However, the basic information is still essentially correct. I will work on a new one for version 2. Please note that V1 of AnimatLab is no longer being actively maintained and I strongly urge you you use the V2 SDK instead. (http://www.animatlab.com/Download/Ani....
